This is one of the most irritating, unnecessary, things that people can do in an office. I can hear people clip their fat, thick, disgusting nails from 3 cubicles through my headphones. It makes me go from bored to murderous in half a second. I don't work in a salon, I shouldn't have to listen to that for 8 hours a day.

As a young girl, the sound of fingernails grinding on a chalkboard could make me shudder inside. If only I knew then what I learned in the corporate world. The sound of the moment when the two metal blades meet and fling off a shard of dead protein and keratin growth from the human body to wherever it may be landing is enough to send me over the edge.
Why? Why. WHY!!!
