Only in Cleveland . . .

. . . does it snow on April 1st. How do we go from near 70 degree weather on Wednesday to inches of snow 2 days later? Damn you, weather, damn you!

How long have you lived in Cleveland now? I can remember going to the Indians home opener and having snowball fights. That last week of warm weather was just the teaser. Now we have to wait until May.

I refuse to believe that we have to wai until May. My call is that by April 15th we will be done by the crap. Jeez, Baseball season starts tomorrow.

Meanwhile, here in KY we sat in easy chairs on our veranda this afternoon, sipping wine (in my case, Bourbon) watching kids play catch on the front lawn, and my neighbor cutting his grass. I saw on the news that the snowfall in Cleveland this year was a record high.

It could be worse Prall. I was in Death Valley on April 1st, and it was 90 degrees. My thermometer read 104 in the sun. And it wasn't even an unusually hot day...
